Bonjour
My name is Aymeric. My journey to acupuncture started when I sought sessions for a foot injury while pursuing a PhD in Events Management and Tourism.
Unhappy with the lack of practical elements in my doctoral program, I became intrigued by the hands-on approach of my acupuncturist. I started asking questions, and soon became fascinated by the blend of intellectual and practical work that acupuncture requires. A seed was growing in my mind.
A year later, I left my PhD to study acupuncture. I have not looked back since.
My approach
I practise a blend of classical and contemporary acupuncture, drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles alongside current evidence. The main styles I work with are Classical Acupuncture, TCM, and Master Tung.
Sessions are calm, attentive, and tailored to each person. I take the time to understand what brings you in before deciding on an approach. The first session is always longer — I also take time to explain what I am doing and why.
Who I work with
A significant part of my practice is made up of expats and international residents — people who appreciate being able to speak openly in their own language. I offer sessions in English, French, and Spanish, and I am familiar with the particular challenges that come with living abroad.
Qualifications
I hold a Professional Licentiate in Classical Acupuncture from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), UK, and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) — one of the most rigorous professional bodies for acupuncture practice in Europe. I undertake regular continuing professional development to keep my practice current.
