Що таке баночна терапія?
Баночна терапія is a traditional therapy used in Chinese medicine and many other healing traditions around the world. Cups are applied to the skin and a gentle suction is created, drawing the tissue upward. This stimulates circulation, loosens tight muscles, and encourages the body’s natural recovery processes.
It is often described as the opposite of massage — instead of pressing down, cupping lifts. Many people find it deeply relaxing, and it can produce rapid results for muscular tension and pain.

- Assessment — we discuss the area of concern and I identify the most relevant points to work on.
- Cup placement — silicone or glass cups are placed on the skin, typically on the back, shoulders, or legs.
- Static or sliding cupping — cups may be left in place for a few minutes, or moved along the muscle to release tension across a broader area.
- Review — we discuss how you felt and any follow-up recommendations.

Баночна терапія often leaves circular marks on the skin — these are not bruises. They result from increased blood flow to the surface and typically fade within a few days to a week. The darker the mark, the more stagnation was present in that area according to Chinese medicine.
